Who We Are
Advanced Bail Bonds ("we," "us," or "our") is a licensed bail bond service in Colorado Springs, El Paso County, Colorado. You can reach us at (719) 667-0600. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, advancedbailbonds.org, and how we use and protect it.
Information We Collect
When you contact us or submit a bond application, we may collect:
- Your name and the name of the person in custody (the defendant);
- Contact details such as your phone number, email, and mailing address;
- Information you provide as a co-signer, including employment and reference details;
- Details about the case and the holding facility needed to arrange a bond.
How We Use Your Information
- To process and service your bail bond application;
- To contact you about your application and coordinate a release;
- To meet our legal, licensing, and court obligations;
- To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
Text Messaging (SMS) and Your Consent
We use text messaging to send operational alerts and to communicate with our team and our customers about bond applications. By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages related to your request or your role with us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or reply HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never sold or shared with any third party. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from any information sharing. We may share information only with service providers who help us operate (for example, our messaging and email delivery providers), and only to the extent needed to deliver our services to you.
Custody Status Alerts
Our website offers optional email alerts about changes to a person's public custody status (for example, a release, new charges, or a bond change) drawn from county sheriffs' public jail rosters. If you sign up for these alerts, here is exactly what happens with your information:
- What we store: your email address, the county and booking identifier of the person you're watching, and a copy of that person's public roster record so we can detect changes. Alerts activate only after you confirm from your own inbox (double opt-in).
- How long we keep it: a watch ends automatically when the person leaves the roster or after 90 days, whichever comes first. Unconfirmed signups are deleted within 24 hours, and all data for an ended watch is deleted within 30 days.
- How to stop: every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe, or call us at (719) 667-0600 and we'll remove you immediately.
- What we don't do: we never sell or share alert data with third parties. Roster information comes from the county's public records and may be delayed or incomplete — always verify custody status with the county. These alerts are not a consumer report and may not be used for employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions. An arrest is not a conviction; every person is presumed innocent.
- One more thing to know: signing up tells us someone may need bail help, so a member of our team may reach out to you about bail options for that person.
How We Protect Your Information
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information and limit access to those who need it to serve you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your Choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You can ask us to update or delete your information by calling (719) 667-0600.
